The Navel orange, also called Novellino Orange is one of the most widespread orange varieties on the market. One of the main characteristics and also the reason why it takes this name, is the particular shape of the peel which has a hollow which, in some ways, almost looks like a navel in fact the term "navel" in English means navel . The cause of this shape is due to the fact that inside it is as if another twin orange were growing. This characteristic can be noticed the moment it is cut.

Among all the varieties, Navel oranges are the earliest. In fact, we find it already from the beginning of October until January, but it is not difficult to find it even in February.
It is characterized by a very intense external color and the pulp has a color that varies from yellow to intense orange.
